Kia ora, my name is Riley Winiata. I descend from the Ngāti Pareraukawa hapū. I am a Wellington-based design student, originally from Palmerston North. And I am currently in my fourth year of study at Toi Rauwhārangi, Massey University's College of Creative Arts.
I like to work across different design mediums such as; Visual Communication Design, Industrial Design, Printmaking, and Photography. My main area of focus is Visual Communication Design. I specialise in programs such as; Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign. In some of my work, I like to add features of the Māori culture, within regulations, as it is my heritage. I feel that it is important to express features of my culture within my work when allowed.
