Editorial Design, Assessment #1 (2023)
We were tasked with curating a book inspired by John L. Williams's "Fifty Typefaces That Changed the World." We had to pick 19 typefaces that were included in John L. Williams's original book, as well as selecting a 20th typeface that was designed in the last decade (or in my case, the last 12 years).
We were also tasked with designing a specimen about our chosen typeface. I chose a space theme for my specimen of Fabian Leuenberger's Europa typeface. The theme was inspired by the name of the typeface, as Europa is one of Jupiter's moons.
